'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Relatives of Missing Young People Await Answers After Ski Resort Fire
The relatives of teenagers lost after a devastating blaze at a venue in a Swiss winter destination are enduring an excruciating wait for confirmed information and pleading for information about their family members online.
The fire engulfed the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Verified footage depict the roof structure being engulfed in flames as bottles with fireworks are raised in celebration.
Officials have stated that it could take an extended period to formally name the those who perished of the fire, which resulted in the death of four dozen individuals and injured another 119. Officials stated on Friday that the majority of the injured have been accounted for, with work still underway to locate the final individuals.
In the meantime, loved ones have been posting on social media to request information about their loved ones who were in attendance that evening.
Appeals for the Missing
The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are currently unknown, according to an public plea from his mother.

The Italian Golf Federation has said that he is dead, without directly referencing the tragedy, paying tribute to a "talented young man who embodied passion and true sportsmanship."
His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around midnight. An representative has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is not yet.
Additional Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise among the missing. His mother told reporters that he had been on holiday but had gone out with a group and found himself at the venue.
